What plays for free

The free part of Candy Shorts is easy to describe: the first two episodes of each public series. With 118 public series in September 2026, that made 236 free episodes, each under two minutes long. They are the opening episodes of the series, not trailers, and they play in the same player as the paid ones.

In numbers: 236 of the 677 episodes in the public catalog are free, two in five for a five-episode series and two in 34 for the longest one. At under two minutes each, the free part adds up to several hours of viewing, spread across 118 different stories.

The eight Spicy titles are the exception. They open with a Premium account from episode 1, and guests see the title and a blurred poster.

How to watch the free episodes

2. Filter the library by cast group or by tag if you have a type of story in mind.
3. Play episodes 1 and 2. They carry the premise and introduce the lead, in under four minutes together.

Free full episodes, not a free full series

The two free episodes are complete episodes, and a series is not free from start to finish. Pages that promise the full series for free, or the Spicy titles without Premium, are not from Candy.ai, whatever their address or their poster says. A clip on a social platform is shorter still, cut to that platform's rules. The free part is generous enough on its own terms: it covers the opening of each public title in the catalog.

What the free episodes show

That depends on the Heat level of the series. At level 3 the free episodes set up the story, and the series shows its scenes briefly or in part. At level 4 they build up to fully explicit paid episodes and can include partial nudity. At level 5 they are already explicit. The episode map in each review carries the official stills of episodes 1 and 2, so the opening is visible before the first play.

What changes after episode 2

Episode 3 is where Premium comes in. The Candy.ai upgrade screen lists access to the premium episodes and playback in HD among the things a subscription brings, and each paid episode then opens with tokens on top of it. Subscriptions renew automatically. The 15-episode series cost 156, or 144 for Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right, and My bestie betrayed me cost 384 for its 32 paid episodes. Among the Spicy titles, the five-episode ones cost 90 tokens, or 150 with a creator, while Tori's broken vows cost 240 and Blackout At My Yacht Party 400.

A month of Premium, planned

With the standard 100-token allowance, a month can cover two five-episode public series, with 28 tokens left, or one Candy Creators series, with 10 left. A 15-episode series takes more than one month on its own, and the long runs take several. The Spicy titles draw on the allowance from episode 3 as well, on top of the Premium account they need from episode 1. The free episodes help with that plan: they show which series deserve the tokens before any are spent.

Free on a phone

The episodes are framed for a phone held upright and play in the browser. Candy.ai can be added to the home screen from the browser, like an app, with no file to download, which is also the quickest way to tell the official site from a page offering an app file.

Two episodes are enough to judge a premise and a lead. Check the Heat level of a series first: in a level 4 series the free episodes set up the story and the explicit scenes come later, while a level 3 series shows its scenes briefly or in part. If a series holds you after episode 2, its review shows what finishing it costs. Keep a short list of the series that did: at 36 tokens for most of them, two fit in a month, and the list makes the choice before the allowance runs out rather than after.
