The premise

My Wife's Best Friend opens on a question: what happens when your wife's best friend used to be a world-famous adult film star? She moves in. The series is told from the husband's point of view, and the houseguest knows what he has been wanting.

The casting doubles as the hook. The houseguest is played by Riley Reid's licensed AI likeness, so the character's former career matches the real one of the performer behind the likeness.
